1. Fold the paper in half lengthways, pressing the crease, then fold it in half widthways, again pressing the crease. Fold it widthways another three times, flattening the creases each time.
2. Unfold the paper to the original lengthways crease and you will have sixteen creases widthways.
3. Starting at one end, cut along the crease from the central fold, stopping 1cm (½in) short of the edges.
4. Cut the next crease in the reverse direction, stopping 1cm (½in) short of the fold. Carry on cutting the creases in alternate directions.
5. Leaving the end strips intact, cut through the central fold on all the rest. (Remember do not cut through the end strips!)
6. Now carefully open out the string of paper and step through it. You have just walked through paper!
