These are so easy to make, all you need is a piece of A4 printer paper and a pair of scissors. They can be stuck to the window or tied together with some thread and hung from the ceiling or wall for a beautiful winter decoration. To make them extra, special try spreading glue on them and sprinkle with glitter.
1. Fold a piece of paper in half and then in half again. Draw around a plate making sure the point of the folded paper is under the plate. Cut this out. You will now have a quarter-circle. Below you’ll see pictures of three different snowflakes; for the first, use the quarter circle you just made. For the second and third, make the same quarter circle, and then fold it in half again – hopefully the pictures will make this clear!
2. Start cutting shapes such as triangles or circles out of the folded paper. There are 3 suggestions below, or you can make your own design.
3. Unfold the paper and you have a beautiful snowflake. You can now decorate it if you like by spreading some PVA glue on it and sprinkling on some glitter or sequins.
4. Either stick to a window with some blue-tack or tie together with some sewing thread and hang from the ceiling or from a hook in the wall for a lovely winter decoration.
