My whole family love reading, so bookmarks are a necessity in our house. The good thing is that you can never have enough of them. They make great presents too and can be made out of so many different materials. In this section I will show you how to make a variety of bookmarks, some from scratch, other ones are made using things that were leftover from other projects on the things-to-make-and-do website (nothing is wasted). I will be laminating some of them, this is not essential but your bookmarks will be a lot stronger and last for many years if laminated, so I recommend using a laminator if possible, especially if you catch the bookmark bug and can’t stop making just one more! A good tip if you are going to laminate is to make several bookmarks and then laminate them at the same time, this means there is no waste and you’ve also made enough to keep for yourself and to give to your family and friends.
